Dear MendMeShop,

I began using the Freezie Wrap (8C) and the Dorsal Night Splint (7Cp) immediately when the package arrived. I followed the instructions. The only medicine I took was 2 or 3 200 mg ibuprophen per day. (I seldom take pain killers.) The plantar faciitis was in my left foot. When the treatment began, I could not walk without great pain and even when I sat still the pain continued. Within a few days the great pain was gone, and within a month I felt pain only after a lot of walking or ballroom dancing. Before receiving your devices, I began using plantar faciitis inserts in my shoes, but that alone did not cure the problem. Now, I use the devices only when I feel slight pain after a couple of hours of walking or dancing. You provide a quality product that is easy to use and works as described on your web site. You may quote my comments.

Heal Your Spur
Combine Cold Compression, Ultrasound and
Blood Flow Stimulation Home Therapies!

Heel spurs are strongly related to plantar fasciitis. Although heel spur cases are not isolated to instances of plantar fasciitis, 70 percent of patients with plantar fasciitis have a heel spur that can be seen on an X-ray.

Ease spur pain with MendMeShop Therapeutic Ultrasound.

The plantar, which literally means "bottom of the foot", is supported by a shock absorber called the fascia. Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of this connective tissue. Generally, plantar fasciitis affects athletes and people over 40 years of age. Plantar fasciitis is caused by excessive wear and tear on the fascia, which in this case means the condition is a repetitive strain injury (RSI). Every time your foot strikes the ground your plantar fascia is stretched, when your heel lifts off the ground your plantar fascia experiences tension. Any extra tension coming from excessive training can result in overstretching, inflammation and/or micro-tearing of the fascia at your heel, the weakest point.

Dear MendMeShop.com,

Thank you you for your great customer service.

Your product is excellent and your quick response to my requests is outstanding. I hope other people take advantage of your ultrasound since it compliments physical therapy and gives quicker results.

Chronic Plantar Fasciitis

As your body tries to heal the fascia, a heel spur or osteophyte (bony outgrowth or calcium deposit) develops around the bottom and/or the back of your heel which protrudes into the soft tissue. It can vary in shape from a flat, shelf-like growth to a hook-shaped, pointy projection, and can extend forward up to a half inch. Your body hopes this extra bone and tissue will help to relieve the pressure on your plantar fascia. Heel spurs can affect your ability to do your usual work and/or activities, and can also trap and irritate the nerves in your heel area. They can change the way you walk, and can lead to knee, hip and low back injuries. If severe, they may require medical intervention

Heel spurs are considered a self-limiting condition, which means you can control the pain and the progression of the condition by making some simple changes to your lifestyle. For example, improper shoes such as high heels and training too hard and too suddenly can put excessive strain on the plantar fascia. However, sometimes heel spurs and plantar fasciitis are related to other conditions like faulty foot mechanics such as being flat footed or having a high arch which affects the way you walk and run.

If you have inflammation in your heel or plantar, it's very important to heal it quickly and completely. If you don't, it may plague you forever.

Dear MendMeShop,

I am currently using ultrasound on a heel spur that was so painful I could barely walk especially in the morning it's been about 9 days of treatments and I barely feel it now.

I went to the doctor, got x-rays, they determined it was heel spurs and arthritis. Best senario from them was cortizone shots or surgery I was determined to find something else, went on the net and found all kinds of wonder drugs and natural supplements to cure heel spurs I really was wary about those and then I found your website. Yay!!!

Here was something non intrusive and not painful to use plus with your money back guarantee what did I have to lose, also I have started to use it on my wifes back that has bothered her for her whole life she noticed improvement after the first treatment.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WITH BONE OR MUSCLE PAIN.

I can't wait to try it on my hand which has arthritis. Thanx so much for a great product.

Treatments for heel spurs and plantar fasciitis are aimed at reducing inflammation, pain, increasing the fascia's range of motion, and speeding recovery time. A speedy and effective recovery should be your highest priority, not only so you can return to a high level of performance, but also because prolonged injuries can lead to scar tissue and a higher risk of re-injury.

Kick pain with MendMeShop Products

At the onset of heel spurs and/or plantar fasciitis immediate measures should be taken in order to avoid serious damage. Ignoring the symptoms thinking they will go away naturally and continuing with activities that cause foot pain will certainly lead to more serious problems in the future. In order to avoid serious plantar injuries try to maintain a strict regimen of icing after walking or running.

To control pain in the initial stages of the injury the application of cold therapy can help slow tissue damage. Our Freezie Wraps are made of the highest quality materials available. They fit perfectly, stay in place, are extremely durable, and use a special gel formulation to maintain the cold. The gel pack inside the Plantar/Spur Freezie Wrap™ is a thick gel pack that cools in the fridge, not the freezer. This provides cold compression therapy at a safe temperature, and the thickness of the gel gives the wrap tremendous cooling capacity. You will get effective cooling therapy for the entire 15-20 minute treatment, providing your sore, swollen foot the pain relief it needs.

Dear MendMeShop,

I have been using the inferno wrap for about 3 weeks now and the results are outstanding. I could feel relief after the first use of the inferno wrap.

About 2 years ago the doctor told me I had plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. The heel of my feet hurt so badly, I could hardly walk. Getting out of bed in the mornings was pain beyond belief. I would hold on to the bed railings to take a step.

After going to the doctors and getting cortizone injections, ordering custom made insoles, exercises, taping my arch, and therapy, my feet were still hurting. I stopped the doctor visits for lack of relief. I was paying out so much money with no results. Not knowing what else to do, I prayed and asked God to show me what I could do to get releif.

I came across the mend me website and read the entire article on foot problems and the products. What it said made so much sense to me. I felt it would be the right thing for me.

I love the way it talks about the body and explain how it should work. What really drew me the most and encouraged me to order was: the site said your body was designed to heal itself.

I am a firm believer in organic healing and avoiding medication and surgery whenever possible. When I read about the blood flow I was sold on the product. I know that blood is the life of the body. When I wear the inferno wrap I don't want to take it off. It gives relief and warmth right where it hurts. I will be ordering other products for the feet as well.

Thanks for the information you give on each part of the body. I have referred your website to several people for different ailments.

This can be further helped by the use of ultrasound applications over the affected area, as it reduces swelling quickly and increases blood flow to the area.

Therapeutic products from MendMeShop provide you with the tools necessary to relieve the pain of heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and dramatically speed the healing.

Ultrasound dramatically reduces inflammation and swelling in the injured area. You need to reduce the swelling and stimulate the blood flow so your plantar gets the nutrition and oxygen it needs to properly heal. Inflammation around the area can create extreme pain and reduce your ability to move.

Once the severe swelling and inflammation has been reduced, the Inferno Wrap's Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy will give you healing energy waves that stimulate blood flow. This speeds up healing and clears away the toxins causing the pain. Furthermore, you can use the Plantar/Spur Inferno Wrap™ that will provide deep penetrating heat to help improve flexibility in your plantar fascia before stretching the area in the morning and throughout the day.

Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy

You can help your body repair itself by speeding its natural healing process using an Inferno Wrap™. The Inferno Wrap's patented design delivers the most effective Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy you can find.

Inferno Wraps stimulate blood flow

During normal activities, the movement promotes blood flow through our body. Our body responds to the movement by sending oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the muscles, joints, tendons and other soft tissue in the body.

When at rest, the blood flow to your tendons is greatly reduced. Unfortunately, when your tendon is injured it requires rest but it also needs the blood flow to promote the healing process. Since you can't work your tendon without danger of further injury, you need to stimulate the blood flow another way.

Our innovative Inferno Wrap™ gives you the best Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy available. The Inferno Wrap™ creates energy waves that stimulate blood flow by penetrating through the outer layers of your body. The energy waves reach deep into your muscles, tendons and cartilage, reducing your pain as they heal the inner tissue.

An Inferno Wrap™ gives you unparalleled blood flow stimulation to your injured tendon. You simply won't find a comparable product on the market. Other therapy products can not come close to offering the comfortable, contoured fit and targeted energy treatment an Inferno Wrap™ provides.

You will experience a soothing, penetrating warmth deep in the tissue as it works to stimulate your blood flow, we guarantee it. Now you can reduce your pain and heal yourself with the comfortable, light weight Inferno Wrap™.

Success

The Inferno Wrap™ provides effective, non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief with no side effects.

When your tendon has healed somewhat and it comes time for more aggressive rehabilitation, stretching and activity, Blood Flow Stimultation Therapy warms the muscles in the injured area which increases range of motion and allows for a safer more thorough stretch.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

xyliss ultrasound

Ultrasound Therapy is also a great tool for pain prevention of tendonitis or healing a tendon tear, and having a therapeutic ultrasound device at home can be a powerful and convenient treatment tool. If you have symptoms of tendonitis or are recovering from a tendon injury, using ultrasound on a regular basis before your activity or throughout the day will help relax your tendons and muscles, diminish pain and inflammation, soften scar tissue and contribute greatly to the healing of your injury.

Therapeutic Ultrasound heats and massages your soft tissue giving you three primary benefits. First, it increases blood flow in the treated area which speeds your body's natural healing process. Second, it reduces swelling and edema which are the main sources of pain. Third, ultrasound softens existing scar tissue and minimizes the build up of new scar tissue resulting in reduced pain while healing and greater flexibility once healing is complete.

MendMeShop Therapeutic Ultrasound Gel ingredient
Eucalyptus...
It's in our Gel!

Ultrasound can also be used to administer therapeutic medicines into the body. This is a process known as phonophoresis. Ultrasound with Phonophoresis is rapidly becoming more popular than Ultrasound Therapy alone.

Tendon Injury Treatment - MendMeShop Ultrasound Therapy Gel
Peppermint...
It's in our gel too!

Our MendMeShop Lavender Infusion Gel is the only topical therapeutic gel that is also a Phonophoretic Ultrasound Gel. It is made with natural medical ingredients including eucalyptus, peppermint, Bulgarian lavender and menthol. These effective ingredients have anesthetic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, decongestant, and circulatory stimulant properties. When applied topically and massaged into the skin, MendMeShop Lavender Infusion Gel relieves pain and speeds healing without any side-effects.

Cold Compression Therapy

Our cold compression wraps work by interrupting and slowing nerve and cell function in the area of your injured tendon. Once blood vessels are damaged they can no longer carry oxygenated blood to the damaged tissue and therefore cells begin to break-down. The deep cold provided by our cold compression wraps slows cell function thereby reducing cellular break-down. Furthermore, because the cold wraps serve to numb the nerves, the wraps also reduce pain!

We have noticed over time that our customers are so fond of our cold wraps that they are frequently coming back and ordering a second one - this way they can cool one while wearing the other. The wraps are becoming very popular with baseball and soccer trainers, and the wraps can be conveniently stored in a cooler for quick application on the field when needed.

Always allow the injured area to return to normal body temperature between hot and cold treatments by waiting 60-90 minutes before applying a different therapy.

Dear MendMeShop,

I would be happy to let you know that I am VERY pleased with the Knee Inferno Wrap that I purchased from your company in June. I suffered from recurring knee problems, pain and swelling when I would exercise or stand too long. I used it as instructed 3-4 times a day along with light cycling and swimming, my knee has improved dramatically!! I absolutely LOVE the Inferno Wrap and continue to use it when I overdo it and feel any discomfort in my knee. It truly does seem to speed up the recovery process. I would recommend your products to others. Thank you for a wonderful product!
